River Bank Stabilization
- River bank stabilization projects along the Coldwater River
Education and Public Awareness
- Club information booth at the Coldwater Fall Fair
- The Club is an Ambassador for Bird Studies Canada and plans to became involved in the Marsh Monitoring Program through Bird Studies Canada.
Fund Raising Activities
- The Club carries out various fund raising activities which supports the Club's objectives.
- The Club also sells OFAH tickets which in turn receives a portion of the sales which is used for projects

Picnic Shelter
- Located off the Big Chute Road on the Kinnear Side Road at the Cowan Nature Trail. Club's long term plan is to develop the picnic shelter into an Interpretive Centre.
Duck Nesting Boxes
- The erection, cleaning out, maintenance, and content recording of the nesting boxes.
Trail Maintenance - Cowan Nature Trail
- Regular summer maintenance of the walking trail.
Big Rock Landing & Boat Launch
- Located on the Lawson Line at the North River the club maintains the parking area, free boat launching ramp and ensures weekly up keep of parking area which includes litter pick up.
Boat Launch Ramp - Village of Coldwater
- Maintenance of dock and boat launching ramp.
Cowan Nature Trail
- Installation of bear proof litter container - spring 2006

- Erected a park bench from the proceeds of the 2005 Duck Race - summer 2006.
Take a minute and relax by the beautiful Coldwater River. Enjoy!
Creel Census
- Creel census taken on the Coldwater River
- Recording information such as length of fish from snout to tail fin and snout to fork in tail fin, pectoral fins, dorsal fin, ventral fins
- take scale samples

Memorial Rock
In recognition of Coldwater & Area Conservation Club members ' dedicated to conservation who have passed away.
- Rocks will be installed at the Cowan Nature Trail on June 27, 2007. If you would like to come out and help in the placement of the rocks meet at the Cowan Trail parking lot at 7:30 a.m. rain or shine.
- Memorial Plaques to be attached to the rocks at a later date.
